MEETING INSTRUCTIONS

The Leucadia Surf School van.

Meet ten minutes before your scheduled lesson, clinic or camp at the van in the parking lot at Grandview.

YOU MUST HAVE A RESERVATION. WALK-UPS USUALLY CANNOT BE ACCOMMODATED.

MEET AT THE VAN IN THE PARKING LOT!
DO NOT GO DOWN TO THE BEACH!
We try to park on the street, or close to it.
There are no restroom facilities at the beach. Please use the big new gas station on Coast Highway 1 block north of Grandview Street before your surf lesson or surf camp.
IF YOU HAVE A BIG GROUP, BE SURE TO CAR POOL, SO THAT WE DO NOT TAKE UP TOO MANY SPACES IN THE GRANDVIEW PARKING LOT.
Wetsuit and Softboard provided. 
DOWNLOAD A RELEASE FROM LIABILITY FORM fill it out and bring it to the lesson.
$30 CHARGE FOR LAST MINUTE CANCELLATIONS!!!!

Bring a small bag, even a plastic grocery bag, for your car keys, sunglasses, a camera. You will not need a towel or sandals at the beach. Travel light, you will be carrying your own surfboard. You need a bathing suit only, and will get a wetsuit at the van in the parking lot.
-Bring water and a snack or small lunch.
-Sunglasses, Hat, Sunscreen
-Small towel to sit on during breaks
-T-shirt -Remember, travel light because you will also be carrying your own surfboard, unless under 12 years of age.
 If you get lost on the way to the beach, get stuck in traffic, are going to be late to your reservation, call the BEACH CELL PHONE ABOVE. OTHERWISE USE THE LAND LINE AT 760-635-SURF (7873)

You can sign a release form at the van before the lesson or camp, or DOWNLOAD A RELEASE OF LIABILITY FORM, fill it out and bring it with you if you were emailed a release form.
Pay at the lesson, by check to Leucadia Surf School or cash, or with a credit card over the telephone, call 760-635-SURF at least a day before the lesson. No credit cards taken at the van.
There is no credit card terminal at the van. Credit cards can only be processed over the telephone.
Please be advised that at all beach parking lots everywhere, there is always a small risk of car break-ins or thefts. Act accordingly and do not leave valuables in plain sight in your vehicle, lock you car and take your car keys with you.
If you have a 4 hour surf camp or clinic, remember to bring some water, and maybe a snack or small lunch.
Please note there is a $30 CHARGE FOR LAST MINUTE CANCELLATIONS!!!! Please cancel at least 24 hours in a advance of any reservation, and there is no charge.
