Softboard and Wetstuit Rental
We
also have softboard and wetsuit rentals after you
have had a lesson. Rentals are 2 hours concurrent with that day's
2 hour surf surf lesson. We will either rent to you for overnight
rentals (same rate) or direct you to a local shop where you can rent.
The daily surf rental with us is good if yourl car is not big enough
to carry surfboards.

you want to surf, and a cell phone number which will be good on the
day of the lesson.
When
it rains, and for heavy rains, a day to two after it ends, water can
be contaminated so we have to cancel and reschedule as soon as possible.

Moonlight
Beach in Encinitas has one of the easiest, gentlest breaking waves
for beginners in San Diego. Plus, there is plenty of free parking,
easy to find (straight west on Encinitas Blvd north or south on the
405 Freeway), and has all the amenities, bathrooms, showers and a
snack bar, which is open on sunny days. Historic downtown Encinitas
is 4-6 blocks away, easy walking distance. The Encinitas lifeguard
headquarters is located on this beach for your safety. (For smaller
groups, we also go to Del Mar, 15 minutes down the coast and with
all the amenities, paid parking, but a short walking distance from
the parking to the beach)
