Advantages of Spring Surfing Lessons:
-RIGHT NOW, THE "GROUPS" ARE SMALL, MAYBE EVEN YOURS ONLY, SO YOU GET LUCKY AND GET A SEMI-PRIVATE LESSON IF NO ONE ELSE SIGNS UP
 -You will find the beach and surf much less crowded, almost empty on some days.
-The water is already warm! As of the first week in May, the water was up to 63!, and you get a full wetsuit anyway.
-Group sizes are much smaller, so you get more attention.
-The owner and head instructor does most if not all of the surf lessons during the winter.

Let us know which day(s) you would like to go, your age, height, weight and a cell number which will be good on the day of the lesson. Check the beach location below, print out a google maps directions map if necessary and a liability release form. Then view the meeting instructions.

all surfing lessons are 2 hours long: This includes 20-30 minutes beach instruction, just enough so that you'll be successful on your first or second wave, then an hour and a half in the water. This is a good long session, and everyone can be assured of being "surfed out" by the end of their lesson. Find out more what's in a Surfing Lesson.

cancellation due to rain: When it rains, and for a couple days after it ends, the water quality can be very contaminated from street runoff, and students as well as instructors have a slight chance of contracting types A, B and C of Hepatitis 1, 2 & 3 in the space of one 2 hour lesson, which is why sometimes we have to postpone lessons.
