We also sometimes conduct Oceanside surfing
lessons. Please request the Oceanside location. |

Advantages of Winter and Spring Surfing Lessons:
-You
will find cheaper accommodations in Encinitas and San Diego.
-You
will find the beach and surf much less crowded, almost empty
on some days.
-The
water isn’t actually that cold, and we have good wetsuits
without leaks for your use, which are included with your surfing
lesson.
-Group sizes are much smaller, so you get more attention.
-The owner and head instructor does most if not all of the
surf lessons during the winter.

all surfing lessons are 2 hours
long: This includes 20-30 minutes beach instruction,
just enough so that you'll be successful on your first or second
wave, then an hour and a half in the water. This is a good long
session, and everyone can be assured of being "surfed out"
by the end of their lesson. Find out more what's in a

cancellation due to rain:
When it rains, and for a couple days after it ends, the water
quality can be very contaminated from street runoff, and students
as well as instructors have a slight chance of contracting types
A, B and C of Hepatitis 1, 2 & 3 in the space of one 2 hour
lesson, which is why sometimes we have to postpone lessons. View
