Group Surfing lessons - $65 - 2 hours
Softboard & Wetsuit Included
DAILY SURF LESSONS - sign up as 1 person and we form the groups, or sign up more than 1 person.
--During the winter (only), as soon as 2 people sign up, we have a group, so you wind up getting a private lesson for a group rate. Groups are always small in the winter, usually just your own group.
--Surf Lessons time is usually 11am-1pm, but changes with tides and requests.
IT'S A GOOD DEAL IN THE WINTER, smaller groups, like a semi private lesson, the water is colder in the winter, but we have good wetsuits for your use.

weight limitations: IF YOU ARE OVER 230 LBS, OUR BOARDS BREAK (WE LOST OVER $1000 IN SOFTBOARDS BEFORE WE LEARNED OUR LESSON!) SO WE CANNOT ACCOMODATE YOU, UNLESS YOU BRING YOUR OWN SOFTBOARD AND WETSUIT. WE DO NOT DISCOUNT FOR THIS. OUR LARGEST WETSUITS ARE XXL, WHICH GOES UP TO 220 LBS. WEIGHT LIMITATIONS ARE LAWS OF PHYSICS AND NOT OUR PERSONAL PREFERENCES!

all surfing lessons are 2 hours long: This includes 30 minutes beach instruction, just enough so that you'll be successful on your first or second wave, then an hour and a half in the water. This is a good long session, and everyone can be assured of being "surfed out" by the end of their lesson. Find out more what's in a Surfing Lesson.

cancellation due to rain: When it rains, and for a couple days after it ends, the water quality can be very contaminated from street runoff, and students as well as instructors have a slight chance of contracting types A, B and C of Hepatitis 1, 2 & 3 in the space of one 2 hour lesson, which is why sometimes we have to postpone lessons.
